Strongly believing in the historical value of Daily News Egypt maintained by its staff for the past seven years, Business News for Press, Publishing, and Distribution Co., owner of the daily economic newspaper “AlBorsa”, has decided to invest in re-publishing Egypt’s first independent newspaper in English.
Business News promises readers and followers of Daily News Egypt to republish the newspaper next month, both in print and electronically.
Business News, which has obtained the copyrights and publishing rights, intends to support Daily News Egypt in its new edition in order to expand its professional coverage meeting the journalistic standards readers have come to expect in regards to content, which Daily News Egypt has maintained throughout its history.
The company also welcomes contracting with all Daily News Egypt’s editors and invites them to join the re-launching of the newspaper.
Mr. Mustafa Sakr, Board Chairman of Alborsa, said, “We have the responsibility to invest in Daily News Egypt. We are obliged to continue with its publication, and we will not let it fall.”
Mr. Sakr also added that the company has already started taking the necessary steps to bring back Daily News Egypt in its best shape next month.
